Even spoofs are getting legacy sequels this year. First The Naked Gun and now Scary Movie 6. Unfortunatly with the passing of Leslie Nielson, he couldn’t be in the latest sequel to the franchise he started (except in portrait form).
However, the Lucy and Ethel of horror, Regina Hall and Anna Faris will be back for their beloved franchise Scary Movie 6. They play Brenda and Cindy, and their comedic chemistry on-screen is unmatched.
“We can’t wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenen, Shawn and Marlon — three men we’d literally die for (in Brenda’s case, again),” the actresses said.
This film is being directed by Michael Tiddes, he has worked with the Wayans for a long time. He directed A Haunted House, Naked and Sextuplets.
